Now that SuperComputing 2009 has been over for a week and the Thanksgiving holiday is behind us, I think it’s about time that I wrote a review of my experience of the conference.

The Countdown to SuperComputing 2009

Well next Saturday I’ll be leaving Salt Lake City and heading to Portland Oragon for SuperComputing 2009. For those of you who don’t know SuperComputing is the international conference for High Preformance Computing, Networking, Stoage, and Analysis.

A Review of the 2009 Utah Open Source Conference

This past week the 2009 Utah Open Source Conference was held October 8th thought October 10th. I was fortunate enough to attend both Thursday and Friday. This was the third year it has been held and the first year I attended. I differently plan on attending next year, and I might even submit a few abstract for presentations. So without further ado I’ll give you a run down of my experience.

Robert (KE7ZEA) lives with his wife and two boys along the Wasatch Front in the small community of Syracuse, Utah. He currently works for the Center for High Performance Computing at the University of Utah as a Unix/Macintosh Systems Administrator. His interest include open source software, cluster computing, and amateur radio.
